Sonic Drive-In: Fresh Fast Food Favorites & Friendly Service in Burlington, NC

Stopped in for the first time in a long time last week. The guy behind the counter was great. Super friendly fast and the food was awesome. Best Smash Burger in Burlington. Definitely making this a frequent meal.

Husband and I decided to stop at the nursery next door and then filled our bellies at Sonic. We ate outside. Service was quick and the food was decent. Our only complaint was this: Not One of the nine outside tables were handicap accessible! Terrible. For a building with so many ramps and appropriately placed ordering stations this was a HUGE oversight. I'd love to come back once this has been corrected.

This was my first time here and have never seen a Sonic that you could enter. It was clean and the condiments were plentiful stocked. Even though we were the only ones there it was loud. The young man behind the counter was pleasant and the food came quickly. It was cool that there were outlets for laptops or charging phones. The only drawback was having to walk across the drive thru to enter the building.

Better than most fast food places. Service is hit or miss. Check your bag to make sure your order is correct before leaving.

Sonic is the spot! I just had one of the best experiences. Their peppermint milkshake is out of this world—seriously, you have to try it! What really impressed me was how they handled my massive order of 20 corn dogs without batting an eye. I absolutely love their corn dogs!! The service was super friendly, and everything was fast and fresh. If you're looking for a fun, reliable place with awesome treats and great service, Sonic is it. Highly recommend!

Everything and all the employees were great and enjoyed my dinner. The food is great just a little disappointed bc the smashed burgers aren't smashed. That's bc I guess customers complaining about the burger was falling apart. But that's the whole point messy but delicious

Just not too long after I arrived, I pulled into a drive-in spot that didn’t have a working order menu. Thankfully, the button was working, and I already placed my order, but I had to change my spot to the next one over. At the time, the crew members were taking orders from other customers, but thankfully, after 5 or so minutes, a drive-in food hopper (waiter) came over to my drive-in spot and gave me my food. He also communicated with the cashier to find a menu that could take my card. My meal was missing one item, so I told the waiter, and after my meal was paid for, he came back and gave me that item. I already expected the food to be either good to mid, because sometimes I like eating diner food like this whenever I need an after-work pickup. But I did not expect the service efficiency to be this good, even when they have many customers in the drive-through. I rate this Sonic franchise 5 stars because of their service and atmosphere, but if there’s anything that could be improved, it would be their food quality. But it’s really not that much that needs improving. Anyways, awesome fast-food restaurant, if you like good ole American fast-food icons for a snack or meal. I’ll be coming back to this joint—hungry for more.
